EDIBLE CONGOLESE UNSALTED MABELE KAOLIN

Congolese Unsalted Mabele (also called ebumba, pemba, or edible clay) is a natural, pure kaolin/edible clay from the Democratic Republic of the Congo, prepared without added salt, seasonings, or additives .

- Colors: Natural white, pale grey, or reddish-brown; whiter grades are typically prized as higher quality.

- Shape: Usually formed into compact sticks, blocks, or dried chunks; firm and solid when dry.

- Texture: Dry, smooth, fine-grained; when bitten it has a distinct crisp/crunch, then softens into a smooth, slightly sticky consistency similar to damp fine sand.
